How it works for your customers

It's just like the paper advent calendars everyone grew up with — except every door is a treat from your business, and they have to come and see you to use it.

Not sure what to put behind 24 doors?

Mix small everyday treats with a few bigger ones, and save something special for door 24. Here are some ideas to start with.

Each door can be a discount, a freebie, a gift or an experience — in store, online, or both.

Five ways to open a door

After the door creaks open, customers get a little moment before their offer appears. Pick one, or mix them up so every day feels different.

Unwrap a present

Tap it, it shakes, and the lid pops off in a shower of confetti.

Blow out a candle

Blow into the phone's microphone, or tap the flame, until it goes out.

Shake a snow globe

Shake the phone and watch the snow whip into a blizzard.

Pull a cracker

Drag the ends apart until it goes bang and a paper crown pops out.

Scratch a card

Scratch off the silver foil with a finger to reveal the offer.

Add your own background music too — it plays the whole time they're on the calendar.

Six Christmas styles, made to look like you

Pick a style, then add your logo, your colours and your own photo behind the doors if you like. Every change shows up in a live preview before your customers see it.

Choose from six festive heading fonts too, plus falling snow, twinkling lights and sleigh-bell sounds — each one can be switched off.

Up and running in an afternoon

No website or app needed. Customers open their calendar on any phone with a username and password you give them — it's free for them.

  1. Sign up and pay

Choose your calendar's link and pay by card below. Your calendar is created straight away and you land in your dashboard.

  2. Make it yours

Add your logo, colours and music, choose a Christmas style, then fill in what's behind each of the 24 doors. A live preview shows every change.

  3. Hand out logins

Print festive login cards for the counter, or download a list to email. In December, staff scan each voucher with any phone.

Questions

The things business owners usually ask first.

Do my customers have to pay or download anything?

No. It's free for them and works in the web browser on any phone — no app to install. They sign in with the username and password you give them.

When can customers open the doors?

Door 1 opens at midnight on 1 December, then one more each day up to door 24. Doors still to come are padlocked until their day.

What if a customer misses a day?

That door stays locked and they never find out what was behind it. It's a good reason to check in every day.

How do customers use their offer?

Each customer gets their own one-use QR code for each door. Staff scan it with any phone at the counter, and it can't be used twice.

Do I need a website or a Shopify store?

No. Your calendar has its own link. If you do sell on Shopify, doors can give real one-use discount codes for your online store as well.

Can I set it up before December?

Yes. Sign up now, then add your offers, branding and customer logins whenever suits. You can preview the whole calendar and open every door any time.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once and it covers one Christmas season. Nothing renews automatically.

Make this December your busiest yet

Your calendar can be ready this afternoon. Your customers will be checking it every morning.
